Academic Requirements:
- ACSEE Level:
- Obtain at least two principal-level passes, with Biology and Chemistry as preferred subjects.
- Meet the university’s specified total points requirement.
- Doctor of Optometry (OD):
- Apply for admission to a recognized university offering the Doctor of Optometry program.
- Successfully complete the OD program, which includes clinical training and hands-on experience.
- Internship and Registration:
- Complete a supervised internship after the OD program.
- Professional Body: Register with the Optical Council of Tanzania (OCT) to become a licensed optometrist.
