Electrical Engineers

Electrical Engineers work with electrical systems, including power generation, transmission, and the design of electronic devices and systems.

Areas of Work:

  • Power Generation Companies: Designing and maintaining electrical systems.
  • Telecommunication Companies: Developing communication systems.
  • Manufacturing Industries: Designing and improving electronic devices.
  • Renewable Energy Projects: Implementing sustainable energy solutions.

Academic Requirements:

  1. ACSEE Level:
    • Obtain a minimum of two principal-level passes, including Mathematics and Physics.
    • Meet the university’s specified total points requirement.
  2. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSc Electrical Engineering):
    • Apply for admission to a recognized university offering the BSc Electrical Engineering program.
    • Successfully complete the program, covering power systems, electronics, and control systems.
  3. Internship and Professional Development:
    • Gain practical experience through internships.
    • Pursue professional registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) of Tanzania.
